Forbes Feature

Kim Longbottom is one of the great wine producers of Australia who has carved out a wonderful reputation in the fine wine market in the U.S.; especially considering she was making wine in a lesser known wine region called Padthaway, her prominence among Australian premium wines is pretty remarkable. Henry’s Drive Vignerons was started by Kim Longbottom and her late husband Mark in 1992 (the first wine released was in 1998) and she has been the sole driving force for over a decade since Mark’s untimely death. Her wines are always elegant and not only speak of a specific place but express the detailed nuances of varietal characteristics. Recently, she has been joined by her daughter Margo as well as made her new home in the Adelaide Hills and she has marked this exciting new phase by renaming their family company Vintage Longbottom.
